All sightseeing is included in the price of the holiday. With Peltours, we pride ourselves on the higest quality and exceeding your expectations.

All entrance fees to the sites, excursions and guiding during your time spent in Cairo and Alexandria, are included.

Itinerary

DAY 1
On arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for overnight in Cairo. BB

DAY 2
Following buffet breakfast, you will begin your full day sightseeing in Cairo visiting Egypt's most famous sights including: Egyptian Museum, Pyramids and Sphinx. Overnight in Cairo. BB

DAY 3
After your buffet breakfast, you begin your journey to the ancient city of Alexandria. On the way, visit the famous Coptic Monastery of St. Bishoy in Wadi Al-Natrun. This is the most Eastern surviving Christian Monastery founded by St Bishoy, who came to the site and lived in solitude. Then continue by road. Upon arrival at Alexandria, check into your hotel for overnight. BB

Day 4
Following buffet breakfast, you will start your fascinating journey back to Egyptian and Graeco-Roman times including visits to: El Montazah Palace & Garden, Alexandria Library, Catacombs of El Shugafa, Graeco-Roman Museum, Roman Amphitheatre, Pompey's Pillar and Fort of Quait Bay. Return to your hotel for overnight. BB

Day 5
Following buffet breakfast enjoy a visit to Coptic Orthodox Monastery of Mary Mina near Alexandria, which has become the lanmark of the region as the most important place of pilgrimage. After the visit, you will continue your transfer to Cairo, where you can enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Cairo. BB 

DAY 6
After buffet breakfast, you will transfer to Cairo Airport for your return flight to  the UK.


NOTE: The above itinerary includes entrance fees to all attractions visited.  The itinerary may vary according to local prevailing conditions, but changes will be kept as minimal as possible. Tipping is customary and not included.

Flights are not included in this itinerary.

We will be pleased to include flights if you prefer, which can be based on British Airways, British Midlands or Egypt Air. From time to time, the airline may impose fuel surcharges which may be passed on to you but we will let you know before you make your decision to book.
