Sightseeing

All sightseeing is included in the price of the holiday. With Peltours, we pride ourselves on the highest quality and exceeding your expectations. Your guide is a fully qualified Egyptologist who is fluent in English.

Itinerary

DAY 1. THURSDAY
On arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel of your choice in Cairo for overnight. BB

DAY 2. FRIDAY
Following breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing which will take you to visit the famous Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids at Giza and the Sphinx. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the evening, you will enjoy a sound and light show at the Pyramids. Overnight in Cairo. BB + L.

DAY 3. SATURDAY
This morning you will fly to Luxor for the start of your cruise. In the afternoon you will visit the Valleys of the Kings and Queens on the west bank of the Nile, and the temple of Hatsheput. Later you will visit the Temple of Luxor on the east bank. Dinner and overnight on board. BB + L + D

DAY 4. SUNDAY
This morning you will visit the Temple at Karnak. You will have lunch and then sail to Edfu. Lunch on board. Tonight, have dinner on board and enjoy a traditional Galabea party. BB + L + D.

DAY 5. MONDAY
Breakfast is followed by a visit to the Temple of Horus in Edfu and sail to Kom Ombo for lunch. Then visit the Temple of Kom Ombo and sail to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board. BB + L + D

DAY 6. TUESDAY
Following breakfast, you will visit the High Dam, the Old Dam and the granite quarries in Aswan. Then fly to Cairo for your last overnight in Egypt. BB.

DAY 7. WEDNESDAY
Transfer from your hotel to Cairo Airport for your return flight to London.

Your Flights

Flights are not included in this itinerary.

We will be pleased to include flights if you prefer, which can be based on British Airways, Egypt Air or British Midlands from London Heathrow Airport to Cairo. From time to time, the airline may impose fuel surcharges which may be passed on to you but we will let you know before you make your decision to book.
