Lovely hotel

Although the hotel was lovely we were disappointed that there was only 1 restaurant to have the All Inclusive. Also we felt the food was of a 4-star standard and not five-star.

We did however thoroughly enjoy our holiday and the 2 reps were brilliant. 10/10.

Great holiday - lots more people than last time

Dear Peltours,

We have just returned from another successful holiday at the Taba Heights Marriott Beach Resort. We were there last year but it was much busier this time. This meant we had to wait a few minutes a couple of times to be seated at meal times, but that is the same in a busy restaurant in the UK. The food was ok with good choice, but think I'd be a bit bored of it after 14 nights - hence we tried the Mexican and the Pub Tandoori in the town area (both lovely).

The weather was gorgeous and we love the pool. Nice to see the gym has been extended, and the Mexican restaurant had excellent steaks.

There were far more Eastern European holidaymakers than I recall - very stern faced and didn't seem too friendly, but didn't detract from our holiday.

Peltours reps, especially Waala and Gill were superb as always, and next time my son might try a PADI scuba diving course while we are there.

We will return although one suggestion: Put your prices up a bit - we had some not such nice people on our flight who had paid quite a bit less than us and couldn't really afford to be staying in a Marriott - and they tried to complain about the prices ! Send them to a Days Inn next time please.

Thanks for a lovely holiday and although we will return in 2008. For those people reading this write-up, I do think that the hotel is a lovely 4* and not really a 5* any more. However, the staff are so willing to please.

Very special trip to Egypt and Jordan

Having just returned from the holiday "Red Sea and Jordan" we feel that we must let you know how much we enjoyed it.

We were the only clients to do this holiday and had wonderful service from both the Peltours staff in Taba and in Jordan.

We were able to see Petra, Jerash, Wadi Rum as well as having a couple of relaxing days at the hotels.

Grateful tanks to the staff of Travel Plus especially our guide who was unfailingly charming and helpful.

Thanks for a wonderful break

We have recently returned from a "Gift of the Nile" holiday. We would like to congratulate your company for one superb holiday. We are fairly well travelled but have not done this sort of holiday for many years and were a little apprehensive. All the reps were better than excellent, helpfull and friendly but did not make you fell useless.

All the guides throughtout were again excellent, both informative, precise, clear and we always felt comfortable with them, which is so important. Lastly all the accommodation was better than expected.

Successful holiday in Egypt

We returned from our holiday on Monday and wanted to let you know how impressed we have been by the service from Peltours, right from your prompt reply to our original enquiry your service has been faultless.

It was very good to be met by a smiling, smartly dressed man holding a Peltours card as soon as we came off the plane and have all formalities from visas to baggage collection dealt with. All the guides we met had excellent English skills, the vehicles used were comfortable and clean and the drivers friendly and good.

The cruise boat was good and the guide we had was fluent with a really clear voice and a dry sense of humour and a really clear explanation of Egyptian history and mythology. While we were away we asked if you could arrange for us to have a guide around the Egytian Museum, so the transport for this and a personal guide for us was arranged at a reasonable additional cost.

We would certainly travel with you again and recommend your firm. Thank you again.

Excellent Gift of the Nile

Thank you so much in the part you played in organising the 'Gift of the Nile' tour. I am pleased to be able to report that we have returned from an excellent trip, marked throughout by the impressively high level of personal service provided by Peltours and your agents, from the moment of booking to our departure from Egypt just a few days ago. It turned out to be a most successful 60th birthday present for my wife!

We were impressed with the individual service provided during our two visits to Cairo, and in particular the knowledgeable guiding services of Soha. Highlight of the trip was, however the delightful experience of a cruise aboard the 'Oberoi Philae', a boat that clearly lives up to its award-winning reputation. The level of service, food and accommodation were above expectation and the excursions were particularly well organised and executed from the boat in the able hands of free-lance egyptologist Tarek.

If we were to return to Egypt again in the future we would have no heisitation in contacting you again and in the meanting will certainly be recommending Peltours to others.

Gift of the Nile

Great Holiday

I would just like to take this opportunity to say what a great holiday we had with you company to Egypt. We travelled with you on 1st March till 5th March and stayed at the Meridien Pyramids Hotel (Cairo). This was a great hotel, and our guide magda and our pick-up guide from the airport was FANTASTIC. They were worth there weight in gold and we will definately book with you again, and I thought the one on one guide was a very good idea, she was of a very pleasant nature, and when we do return to Egypt we will definately book through you, and will stop at the same hotel again the food was fantastic and the service was 5*****. Many thanks for making our trip to Egypt a great success.
