Summer Holidays to Egypt's Mediterranean Coast and year-round breaks to The Red Sea combined with Jordan's Dead Sea are featured in a new brochure from Peltours.

The company, which has been running trips to Egypt since 1920 is expanding its programme to a destination which combines quality hotels with cultural experiences.

Highlights of the 2007 programmes are two new hotels on the Mediterranean Coast with BMI flights to Alexandria from Heathrow. The hotels featured are the Hilton Borg el Arab Resort and the Porto Marina just 90 minutes from Alexandria where prices begin at £499 for a week.  These holidays offer the chance to relax in sophisticated hotels and to see the historic city of Alexandria and the country's capital Cairo.  Peltours is the only UK operator offering holidays to Egypt's Mediterranean Coast.

Excursions to Jordan from Taba Heights have proved popular in 2006 and the operator now features a 14 night holiday based in Taba Heights or Taba with 2 nights in Petra at the 5 star Marriott and 3 nights at the  Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa on the Dead Sea. Prices begin at £959.

Seven Nile Cruises continue to form a major part of Peltours programme with the top-of-the-range 13 day Egyptian Voyager costing £1,580. Cairo breaks and the 15 day tour taking in the Red Sea, Luxor, a Nile cruise and Cairo continue to appeal to the more experienced visitors.

Peltours offer a wider range of hotels in Taba with the addition of the 4 star all-inclusive Sonesta Beach Resort, the 4 star Sol Y Mar and the 5 star Movenpick Resort. In Taba Heights the 5 star Intercontinental Resort joins Peltours' three other top hotels. Prices begin at £359 for a week's half-board. And in Cairo short break city visitors will have greater hotel choice with the arrival of the 5 star deluxe Four Seasons First Residence.

Scuba diving, golf at Taba Heights on a new 9 hole course and a good range of excursions from all resorts offer visitors some interesting diversions.

The 2007 programme has flights direct to Taba from London Gatwick on Saturdays and Mondays on Astraeus with the choice of Premium class upgrade, from manchester with Astraeus and with British Airways and Egypt Air to Cairo from Heathrow.
