Stunning Jordan -Day 1- Saturday (Fly Driect to Amman)

On arrival at Amman Airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to the Marriott Amman hotel for overnight stay.

Stunning Jordan - Day 2 - Sunday - Jerash

After breakfast, you will travel to Jaresh known as Pompeii of the East, for a two hour tour of this fascinating Roman City.  You will then travel back to Amman for a panoramic tour of Amman City.  Dinner will be served in a traditional restaurant offering typical Jordanian food. Overnight at Marriott Amman hotel.

Stunning Jordan - Day 3 - Monday - Bethany, Madaba, Mt. Nebo

After breakfast, check-out of the hotel, travel to Bethany, the Baptismal site (approximately 45 minute drive).  A short drive will take you to Madaba to view the oldest known map of the Holy Land located in the Church of St. George.  Then drvie to Biblical site of Mount Nebo from where Moses first viewed the Holy Land and where he is allegedly buried.  After lunch in a local restaurant, start your journey to the lowest point on earth - the Dead Sea.  You will have time to relax at the 5* Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa, enjoy the sunset then dinner and overnight.

Stunning Jordan - Day 4 - Tuesday (Dead Sea)

After breakfast, have a well deserved day of leisure at the Dead Sea, why not try some of the local spa treatments. Dinner and overnight at the Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa.

Stunning Jordan - Day 5 - Wednesday - Kerak, Petra

After breakfast, drive to the imposing 12th Century crusader fortress of Kerak, strategically dominating the surrounding valleys and built to protect approach to Jerusalem from the East.  After lunch in a local restaurant, drive to the Petra Marriott Hotel for dinner and overnight. 

Stunning Jordan - Day 6 - Thursday - Petra by day and by candlelight at night

After breakfast, you will start a magnificent day tour of Petra, the city that was carved  into the rose-red Sharah Mountains by the Natabeans and lost to civiliastion until rediscovered by the Swiss Burckhardt.  Walk through the siq a narrow and winding fissure between the cliffs, to reach the Treasury, the Theatre, the Courts and the Qasr Bint Pharaoun.  You will be able to admire more of Petra's wonders while having a lunch. You can also take an optional horse ride at the beginning or at the end of your tour.  Dinner and overnignt at the Petra Marriott. In the evening return to Petra for an unforgettable experience, Petra by candlelitght.

Stunning Jordan - Day 7 - Friday (Petra full day)

After breakfast, visit "Little Petra", hidden away, 15 km from Petra. Comparatively few people find their way to there and you will be able to see ancient Nabatean cisterns and irrigation systems. After lunch you will be driven to Wadi Rum, made famous by Lawrence of Arabia, for a 4X4 sunset jeep tour. In the evening, you will be treated to a special Bedouin tent, deep in the Wadi Rum desert. return to Petra for your last night at Petra Marriott.

Stunning Jordan - Day 8 - Saturday (Departure day)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Amman Airport for your flight back to London Hethrow.

• All visitors to Jordan must have at least six months validity on their passports from the date of arrival.
• British and other EU passport holders can obtain a visa on arrival at the airport in Jordan, nationals of other countries are advised to contact the Jordanian embassy to check visa requirements.
