Wadi Rum the mangnificent geological phenomenon - situated in the southernmost part of the country. Wadi Rum has been inhabited since earliest times, and was an important centre for the Nabateans with ruins of a Nabatean temple found at the foot of the great massif Jebel Rum.

This tour will explore ancient castles including the one at Azrak which was built around 300 AD and was alleged to have been dedicated to Emperor Diocleation and Maximan, Emperor Jovian later enlarged it in 363 AD and the Arabs rebuilt it between 1213 and 1238 AD during the time of the crusades. Other castles visited will include Kharana and Amra which was built in in the 8th century, is famous for it paintings on the walls and is a designated UNESCO site.
