Glitzy and glamorous, Port El Kantaoui is a purposely built tourist area 10 km north from the popular tourist resort of Sousse. Port El Kantaoui has been built around a large artificial harbour offering fantastic views over the marina and the sparkling turquoise sea. Although the resort is man-made and modern, the shiny white architecture is modelled on the traditional Tunisian architecture with narrow streets and beautiful arches to recall ancient medinas with narrow cobbled streets and secret alleyways.

The Port El Kantaoui harbour provides mooring for luxury yachts and hosts many sporting activities. A good range of water sports is available from water skiing to paragliding to private yacht charters. There is also a 36-hole PGA approved golf course which is one of the most popular golf courses in Tunisia.

Spend your days shopping in chic boutiques, dining in the waterfront restaurants and enjoy long walks on the Boujaffar Beach, which stretches from Sousse to Port El Kantaoui offering a fabulous range of entertainment for the whole family from traditional camel riding to jet skiing. To experience a more authentic side of Boujaffar Beach, go late in the afternoon when the locals set up their picnics and enjoy the cooler air.
